Child Sexual Exploitation training
Child sexual exploitation is the sexual abuse of children and young people through the exchange of sex or sexual acts for drugs, food, shelter, protection, other basics of life, and/or money.
In this course you will learn more about the possible signs of sexual exploitation and trafficking, and how you can support young people who may be at risk.
We will consider how children are groomed and what makes young people vulnerable to child sexual exploitation. The impact of exploitation may be severely psychologically damaging and children may remain vulnerable to abuse and exploitation in the future.
