Health And Safety For Foster Carers – An Introduction training

As a foster carer you are accepting responsibility for your child’s safety and welfare on behalf of the Local Authority and/or fostering agency.

You will have undertaken safeguarding training as part of your foster care role. We want a child's experience in foster care to be a safe one, so alongside safeguarding you need to think about health and safety.

This course will cover the underpinning legislation, why children are at risk, why looked after children are more vulnerable and the safety measures you need to consider.
