Teenage pregnancy is defined as pregnancy before the age of 20. This online training course focuses on understanding that many teenage parents are known to the social care system themselves.

This makes them vulnerable children, having vulnerable children and as a result both them and their unborn child will require additional support to overcome difficulties.

This Sexual Health and Development course has been designed specifically for people who want to know more about working with teenage parents.Whilst it provides focus for people working in Children's Services, it will also be useful to a wider audience of people who would like to know more about the impact of early parenthood on young people.We can deliver this course either: online, as a webinar, or as a face-to-face programme. The online version of this course will take 2 hours to complete. The webinar versions are usually 2-3 hours long and face to face delivery will usually be around 4-5 hours.
